  Hendrix Oliomogbe The South South Zonal Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has dissolved the Dr. Tony Aziegbemi-led PDP caretaker committee in Edo State. In place of Dr. Aziegbemi is Mr. Nosa Ogieva while Chief Sunny Okomayin is to serve as vice chairman and Hillary Otsu remains state secretary. Similarly, the party’s South South zonal leadership also dissolved the state working committee of the PDP in Bayelsa, appointing a replacement for both states for three months. Hendrix Oliomogbe  The South South Zonal Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has berated the party's national publicity secretary, Mr. Debo Ologunagba over his criticism of Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno and his Delta State counterpart, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori over their open declaration of support for President Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2027 election.   A statement by the zonal publicity secretary, Prince Etim Isong on behalf of the South South Zonal Working Committee slammed Mr. Ologunagba for failing to differentiate between expressing personal opinion and officially speaking on behalf of the PDP.  Prince Isong warned Mr. Ologunagba to refrain from interfering with or discussing matters related to the party's affairs in the South South zone and its respective states.   He advised him to stay away from Edo PDP and "his unsolicited unholy comments during this Holy Week."
