Immediate past Edo State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Dr. Samson Osagie has vehemently denied dumping the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the budding African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a statement, Dr. Osagie insisted that the report which has it that he has concluded plans resign from the APC to join ADC in his home Constituency of Uhunmwode Local Government Area was circulated in the social media, is the handiwork of idle minds.
The former House of Representatives member said that he has no intention of leaving the APC either now or in the foreseeable future.
The statement read in part: "My attention has just been drawn to a social media post that it is been rumored that I will soon be resigning from APC to join the ADC
"I Hon. Samson R. Osagie, PhD wishes to make it clear unequivocally that the speculation is the handiwork of idle minds
"I have no intention of leaving the APC either now or in the foreseeable future. If I have remained calm and focused on my professional advancement without indicating any interest in any elective office, it does not mean that I have plans to quit the party or politics. I remain here- APC."
