Edo House of Assembly Aspirant Hails APC Congress, Lauds Tenebe, Okah, Others

A leading All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for Orhiommwon South Constituency in the forthcoming Edo State House of Assembly election, Hon. Bright Guobadia has hailed the choice of Mr. Jarrett Tenebe as the state chairman of the ruling party in the just concluded congress of the party.

In a message Thursday in Benin City, Hon. Guobadia also lauded the choice of Ambassador Sylvester Aigboboh as the state deputy chairman, Eng. Lawrence Okah as secretary and other members of the state executive council of the party.

The House of Assembly hopeful said the smooth conduct of the state congress without internal wranglings and violence is a testament of APC's wide acceptance across the state and beyond.

A strong pillar of APC in Orhiommwon South Constituency, the politician expressed implicit confidence on the ability of the trio of Tenebe, Okah and Aigboboh, adding that as tested and experienced, he has no doubt that the political gladiators will be able to galvanise the party to greatness, especially in the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Hon. Guobadia, the chairman and CEO of the Ultimate serene Luxury Hotels and Apartments/Mega Oil Base Ltd reiterated his resolve to serve the constituency and attract the dividends of democracy spanning through agriculture revolution, educational development, women empowerment, unlocking the potential of youths through skills acquisition, infrastructural development aimed at changing the narratives.

The grassroots politician paid a glowing tribute to the performing Governor Monday Okpebholo, noting that his administration has ushered in unity in the party and unquantifiable development across the various sectors in the state.

Hon. Guobadia reassured his constituents of worthy representation in line with APC manifestos and his vision of engendering meaningful development to Orhionmwon South Constituency if he wins.

He said: "The successful conduct of the Edo  State APC congress which produced tested and dependable leaders to steer the ship of the party will go a long way in deepening democracy in the state. The congress succeeded because it utilized internal democracy mechanism and sense of maturity."
