The chairman, Edo State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Pastor Frank Omobude has lauded the vision of the founding fathers of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) for its tremendous expansion since its foundation 40 years ago.
Pastor Omobude, who spoke at the PFN@40 award dinner in Abuja, commended the association for fostering unity and building resilience amongst the clergy.
The man of God attributed the feats recorded by the board to the tremendous support received from Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, who has demonstrated his love and passion for the work of God and humanity.
Citing the success of the just concluded pilgrims to Israel and Jordan, he noted that the welfare board under his watch has continued to carry out its core mandate of spearheading the performance of pilgrims to the Holy Land.
Pastor Omobude disclosed that 43 pilgrims from Edo State successfully performed the Easter 2025 pilgrimage to the two Middle Eastern countries.
The Edo Pilgrim Welfare Board chairman called for more prayers as it is the only potent weapon to dislodge all unwholesome activities.
